Spanish Immersion Program


Baja Sierra Adventures offers you the opportunity to experience the beauty and everyday life of the area, while practicing and learning Spanish from locals.

Through this full immersion program you will be exposed to the culture and the language while exploring this majestic area and learning about plants, animals, traditional cooking and another way of life.

We focus the Spanish program on 2 different topics: Mexican history and Mexican cuisine.

Cuadro de texto: Program Activities 1 hour of grammar instruction each day 1 hour one on one conversation with a native companion Full immersion in local culture and language Beautiful hikes in the area´s granite canyons Relaxing, scenic bike rides Meals at local ranches Relaxing afternoons in hammocks at our base camp Accommodations: You will be staying at Huerta Los Mangos, where we have a rustic base camp under large mango and avocado trees. Camp facilities include an open air kitchen, self-composting toilets and solar panel electricity. You will have your own spacious tent and all camping gear Physical Activity: You determine the level of physical activity, with the possibility to join day trips with other visitors. Program Cost 3 days—2 nights $ 310 usd 4 days—3 nights $ 420 usd 1 week $ 560 usd 2 weeks $ 1050 usd Included: 1 hour of grammar every day, Spanish conversations throughout the day, camping equipment , all meals starting with lunch the first day and ending with lunch the last day, snacks, drinks, cocktail before dinner and all the transportation once you arrive to the area. Not included: Transportation to and from Huerta Los Mangos (although we can help arrange this), and gratuity for your host. Program Dates: We run programs from October to May.
