Trip Description

 

Strenuous 3 days of mountain biking starting at the Pacific coast, close to Todos Santos and ending at the Sea of Cortez, at Cabo Pulmo.

 

Day one

Pick up at Todos Santos,  shuttle from TD to Elias Calles town, from where we start biking.

Beginning at sea level you will climb to 2500 ft on a wide dirt road crossing the beautiful mountain range of Sierra San Lazaro. The ride includes strenuous up hills that lead to amazing views of the Pacific Ocean. The day ends at 600 ft on Highway One. From there we will shuttle to the base camp at Huerta Los Mangos.

Total length of bike ride: 32 miles

 

Day 2

We will have an easy second day with an optional bike ride to San Jorge canyon where we will enjoy a relaxing day of hiking, exploring the granite canyon, and taking a dip in the hot springs at the end of the day.

Total length of bike ride: 12 miles

 

Day 3

On the third day, we will start at 600 ft and go up to 2000 ft crossing Sierra de Las Tres Virgenes and finishing with a great downhill to sea level with a view of the Sea of Cortez. Shuttle to hotel.

Total length of bike ride: 35 miles

Transportation from your hotel in Todos Santos to the starting point the first day. Transportation from Cabo Pulmo to La Paz or San Jose if you are not spending the night at Cabo Pulmo the last day of the trip Not included: .
